I participated in Pleine Commune Habitat’s Open Studios event on June 15th. For the event I installed one of the Photorecepteurs that I originally created for a project for the Sentier du Rhone, outside of my sculpture studio for one week. In the context of the PRISM scandal, the work took on a new level of significance, as local residents reacted to the work as a representation of government surveillance of private activities.
